mystika1
Hi, I have been curious about this as I am really interested in MOTL for my 7 year old. There is so much talk about mental math(asian math) that I would like to know if MOTL is more traditional or mental math oriented. I like the idea of being able to fit the program to my dd's needs. She needs lots of review or it just gets forgotten. We have been using SM with some success but I really have to keep on top of reviewing things like time and money or she completely forgets it all. The five a day math problems in MOTL seem like it would be a huge winner in our house. Any opinions? Penny

Amber in AUS
I've got MOTL sitting on my shelf, still need to sell it! No, i don't think it includes any 'asian' math tricks for mental math or solving word problems, or even looking at numbers differently.
