Kari C in SC
I am narrowing down which speakers I may want to go see. There really aren't any I am interested in on Friday and then there are a bunch on Saturday. I don't want to spend all of Saturday in lectures, so I gotta pick and choose. Here are the choices: Don't Miss the Gift in This Child - Carol Barnier The Seasons of Life - Gregg Harris Hormones, Hot Flashes and Homeschool - Doreen Morgan Season's of a Mothers Heart: Living With Grace Through the Seasons of Motherhood - Sally Clarkson There is also MUS and IEW on the same day. See why I can't sit in lectures all day? LOL! Why couldn't they be spread out to Friday? Anyway, have you seen any of these and did you enjoy or learn from them? Thanks! angela in ohio
I would do the IEW one. I tend to skip the "you can do it" type speakers, as I can get that in a book in more depth.
TraceyS/FL
Don't Miss the Gift in This Child - Carol Barnier This one is on my list of MUST go to's. Provided i get there in time.... :auto: She is an AWESOME speaker. I'm so NOT sharing the story of what happened to me when I was listening to one of her lectures 2 years ago on the way to the next days action. Oh my....... where IS the embarrasing smilie here?? :blushing: I would also say IEW over MUS - are you by chance going to FPEA? (I see they are scheduled at the same time). In the past, the first 4 rooms were wired for recordings. you could call them and ask which recordings you will be able to buy. If you are going to FPEA, and haven't been to the Rosen before, and aren't staying at teh Rosen - be sure to plan on an hour in the morning to get from the parking garage to the Convention Center. UGH. Don't get me started - take me back to the Gaylord, at least they were accommodating of handicap parking.
Debbie in OR
Personally, I would listen to Gregg Harris. He and his wife have raised several REALLY REMARKABLE children so I would love to sit at his feet for awhile and learn ANYTHING!

Sue G in PA
So tough...Greg Harris is a great speaker. I've never heard Andrew Pudewa of IEW but heard he is awesome, too. Too bad he's offered the same time as Steven Demme of MUS b/c I really, really LOVE him as a speaker. Had the opportunity to hear him speak at Sandy Cove 2 yrs ago and meet him and his youngest son, Johnny. Terrific speaker.
yvonne
Without a doubt... Carol Barnier's Don't Miss the Gift in This Child. I've heard a lot of speakers and this session was one of the absolute best! Don't miss it!
Robin Hood
Here are the choices: Don't Miss the Gift in This Child - Carol Barnier Hormones, Hot Flashes and Homeschool - Doreen Morgan quote] I have been to Carol's and I really enjoyed her. Hormones, Hotflashes and Homeschool would be of interest because I passed through that and was awful to my girls. If you're under 40, it might not interest you, but if you're over 40, do check it out. Looking back, it was not fair to put my kids through that. We made it, but it just wasn't fair. Hormones have more control over us than we can believe.

TraceyS/FL
Sorry, not allowed. Now you HAVE to tell use the story!!!!!!! The summary.... Listening to the Lecture on Highly Distracted kids...... a 35mph speed trap..... 5 Sheriffs writing tickets on Disney Property...... the guy in front of me got pulled over for 85..... i got off with a warning and a lecture to buy a POLICEMAN license plate next time instead of a Firefighter one ;) (that plate is the ONLY reason i didn't get that ticket - which, would have been my first one ever......) Let's just say that thanks to Carol - i don't speed in that section anymore! LOL!!! And, my friend that was with me still is laughing that i got out of the ticket....... and what the content of what we were listening to was :tongue_smilie: :auto:
