Need to think of a craft for very young kids that would teach them about a famous

I used this with dd when she was little. I should dig it out again for 4yo ds...

but I don't see a target age for the activities. The description does say the reading level is 9 - 12 years old.

We did Monet and made waterlilies. Just give them a sheet of paper and some paint, and let them cover over the paper with paint. Then cut out three waterlily patterns - each slightly smaller, layer them and glue them together. Slightly bend (lengthwise) each petal and you have a three-dimensional waterlily. We still have ours (5 years later) as a frig magnet.

How about not Starry Night or Sunflowers? We did that...and I wanted to just say "He died" but the small child could already read and read ahead. Not the most fun conversation.
