CalicoKat
PLEASE! Ugh. It's non stop filling cups, putting out snacks and persuading little people to wait until dinner. Every conversation with my 1-5 yo group is about food. Ugh. And then dh asks, "What's for dinner?"
Pink and Green Mom
I feel your pain. Sounds exactly like my house.
GinaPagnato
Wait, my kids are all 9 and older, and they still do this. :001_huh:
OnTheBrink
Your post reminds me of the time when I babysat. I was trying to feed two kids under the age of 2, and EX waltzes in and says, "I'm going to lie down. When will lunch be served?" I'm sure that had I smashed him over the head with a cast iron skillet I'd have been acquitted.
katilac
Just open a box of Cheerios and sprinkle them all over the floor twice a day.

Dawn in OH
I second the OP's comment! Someone always wants food or a drink. ALWAYS. And now the youngest is eating solid food. Yesterday he ate enough to feed a small African village, for a week!
alpidarkomama
We used to have more of that. Now everyone has water bottles for the day that live in the kitchen. Morning snack is always a piece of fruit that they can help themselves to. For afternoon snack, they can help themselves to some pre-cut veggies (carrots, cukes, celery), and/or a spoon of peanut butter, and/or 1-2 crackers. I keep it all serve yourself, and at a time when I say. Then, when I'm making dinner I do it ALL BY MYSELF, unless I ask a specific child for help. :)

The older ones found my stash of chocolate. :001_huh: At least my cheese-its are still safe!
Hot Lava Mama
Sorry, I will come pick them up. Please make sure they are fed, first, though! :D
Rhonda in TX
I get the constant "What's for breakfast/lunch/dinner?" We barely finish one meal and DS is asking about the next. Drives me batty!
