I am trying to decided where to take her next.....Not so sure if I want to continue with the Henle series or move into a reading based series. Mama Lynx
My dd is finishing Henle Latin II book. Any recommendations??? :bigear: Lynda After Henle II, I'd start reading original works. Or, perhaps you could look at the 2nd volume of Lingua Latina: Roma Aeterna. But if she's through Henle II she's covered all the grammar, and has done good bit of Caesar, IIRC. definitely a reading program.
z2_mom
Thanks I will look at that curriculum. Is there any other recommendations for a Latin reading method?? Lynda
forty-two
I've seen people here rec Bolchazy's Legamus readers as a good transition into reading original works. They each contain excerpts from a particular Latin work/author, with lots of helps. Here's the link: http://www.bolchazy.com/index.php?cat=latin&sub=
