HollyDay
We usually have something special for Valentine's dinner. But, our grocery budget is so very tight this year, I need to get creative. I am making cake bites for dessert. But, I need something special for dinner. Any ideas are appreciated!!!

Pretty in Pink
Any meal can feel special when served by candlelight. Wine glasses for all and good dishes (if you have good dishes, we just have the one set) also feel special.
Crissy
What do you already have on hand? Anything in the freezer or pantry that we might help you work into a new dish? Chris in VA
How about fondue? We do cheese first (with cut-up bread, cauliflower and broccoli), followed by hot oil in which we do beef with various dipping sauces (teriyaki sauce, worchestershire, bbq, and the like). We usually end with a chocolate fondue, but you've got dessert covered. We love this meal, because it's a "talking" meal--it takes time to make it as you eat it, and we talk the entire meal. Lovely, really.
