Need help with dressing for running in the cold

Recommended Posts

I've been running all winter at about 6:30 AM. The coldest it has been is around the low 30's. Really cold, but bearable once I get going. I have a lightweight jacket (breathable material) over my top along with long pants. That plus a hat and gloves usually work fine. I've typically stripped off the gloves and hat, and sometimes the jacket, by the end.

Tomorrow it's supposed to be 22 degrees. That extra 10 degrees is really scaring me. Anything I should add? Another shirt? I don't have any other exercise-type outerwear.

Please tell me I'll be okay. :)

(Oh, and don't suggest I wait 'til later in the day. I hate running later in the day. I always have a bad run.)
