Prairie~Phlox
I'm interested in trying apple cider vinegar, what do you use it for? What kind do you take?
Jean in Newcastle
Bragg's Organic - Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar "with the mother" I use it for digestive problems, yeast/fungal problems.
happyWImom
Bragg's, also. I tried it when my sinus's were really bothering me. After reading different things, I mixed it with hot water & honey and drank it-figured if it didn't help my sinus's, it would be good in another way.:001_smile: And, I actually mixed it with warm water & used it in my neti-pot.:eek: If you ever try this, you need only a very little amount!

Better, worse?
sleepymommy
Another vote here for Braggs.
happyWImom
How does this work compared to using salts? Better, worse? Well, on a regular basis, I use the salt, but I do the ACV if I feel like I'm getting a headache daily, or really, really congested. It did seem to help. But again, use very little ACV with your warm water in the neti-pot. Otherwise, I felt like someone stuck a pic ax in my skull!
mcconnellboys
Actually, if you have a local producer who has one that's unpasturized or flash pasturized, that's even better. A vinegar that requires refrigeration is going to contain more good stuff than one that can sit on a shelf.... (But Bragg's is great, don't get me wrong!)
