truebluexf
We're trying to use La Clase Divertida but there is no way my kids will watch the video 5 times like recommended...once and they are bored with it. Maybe twice. Especially my older one. What else is out there that requires little from me? I'd pay for Discovery Streaming if I thought it would be better. My DS would probably be happier with something computer-based, like Rosetta Stone, but that gets mixed reviews. Not sure what to do.
Dmmetler
One of the things that's nice about Discovery Streaming is that you can pick and choose and not feel like you're missing something. What we've tended to do is to watch a video on the topic in the 1/2 level, and then, later in the week, watch the 3/4. A lot of the vocabulary is the same, but the 3/4 goes farther and doesn't make DD feel like she's just watching the same thing over and over again. We use some of the activities from the teacher's guide and Scholastic News Bilingual the other days of the week. I plan to use Discovery Streaming for 1st/2nd, and then use Spanish For Children for 3rd, to get the grammar.
