Halcyon
We have two of these: one of the United States, and another one with multiplication tables on it. And let me tell you, my boys KNOW their US geography and their times tables because of them--they just look at them when they're eating breakfast every morning, not even realizing they're "studying" LOL. Anyway, I want to get more of them...the periodic table, a world map, and one with the US Presidents..but online I am seeing them at around 5-6 bucks apiece which seems pricey. I seem to recall I got mine at a dollar store for a buck...I could be wrong though. Does anyone know where I might find more of these? Walmart? Thanks! Zoo Keeper
I think Rainbow Resource has various ones scattered throughout the catalog...
HRAAB
I have found some at Walmart in the past. Math facts, maps and all the presidents of the US. My girls actually learned from those!
Halcyon
Thanks. I normally hate setting foot inside walmart, but I'll give it a shot this weekend :)
Mergath
Yup, our Walmart has a huge selection for a buck each, too. Every Walmart I've ever been in has them in a rack over at the end of the furniture/household stuff section. My two year old knows all the planets and thirty different countries on the world map thanks to those placemats. :D
ThatCyndiGirl
If you buy a laminator (ours was around $20) you could make your own. Or, if there is a Mardel near you they laminate for a small fee. I'm thinking about making English From the Roots Up placemats.....and French in Action.....and History Odyssey.....Hmmm,.... Down_the_Rabbit_Hole
Kmart also carries them. I bought one on Dinosaurs, Periodic Table, US, World, and Spanish Words.
Dawn in Ohio
Amazon has them. Search for Ruskin or Crocodile Creek placemats.

JennyD
I get them from Rainbow Resources -- I think they carry two brands: Babalu and Painless Learning. We also have one from Crocodile Creek that we picked up somewhere -- maybe a local toy store?
