LisaKinVA
I'm not sure it matters too much. I used Abeka with my DD and DS before TT. I'm looking into Kitchen Table Math along with Abeka worksheets for my rising Ker... and then starting TT3 when she's ready, although I'm starting to wonder if Saxon might be better for this one. She is just so different from my older 3 school-wise. So very different.
BarbinTN
that Saxon would be a good one to transition from but I don't remember where I read that. I see that SL recommends Horizons then TT. Thx, Barb
Beth in SW WA
Dd6 is currently doing TT3 w/ Singapore 2A, MM blue place value 2 and mult 1.
mama2cntrykids
TT has a rep for being "behind". For example, my average (for math) 4th grader started in the middle of TT5 about two months ago. Sorry, that doesn't really answer your question lol. Before he started, he was doing Singapore Math, but it wasn't a good fit for *me*. shinyhappypeople
you use for 1st and 2nd grade??Thanks, Barb Almost any reasonably rigorous first grade program. I considered switching older DD to TT3 after this year (decided not to) and she's just now finishing up McRuffy grade 1.
