texasmama
We are now studying World War 1 in history, and I would love to show a related movie, documentary, etc. to my 2nd and 4th grade boys. I'm looking more for a documentary rather than a period movie, but I don't want to overwhelm or scare them with graphic scenes. Any suggestions? Skadi
We really liked this from the BBC. I haven't seen it yet personally, but I've heard great things about Joyeaux Noel. There are several documentary-esque videos here. World War One: American Legacy talks a lot about our involvement in WWI. Good luck!

twoxcell
Sergeant York, I love that movie. Might be a bit slow for young kids though, but it is very clean.
