T Baer
He was our AFS kid and we want to send him something to congratulate him for entering the University. It was recommended on this board that movies are a good choice, so we are going with that, but I need suggestions.

Laurie4b
A lot of DVD's have another language(s) you can play them in.
klmama
Before you send them, check to be sure that the movies you can buy here are going to work on the type of machine used in his country.

klmama
How do I find out what type of movie player? Honestly, I don't know. Google, maybe? Ask here if anyone lives in his country and knows? I just remember the buzz about President Obama giving the British Prime Minister a bunch of videos as a gift and they couldn't be viewed on the machines in Great Britain. What the differences are, I have no idea. Sorry.
