I get nervous, my stomach aches, I have sweaty palms, and I get inappropriate giggles. I had to take dd9 to the local elementary school to see about getting speech therapy services. Despite my panic attack, they were so nice. The speech therapist happened to be free when we came in so she took us back for a quick informal evaluation and had me fill out paperwork for a formal evaluation. They weren't totally sure about what papers had to be filled out, and I couldn't help them there, but they didn't balk or treat us badly or anything. Whew!
