HappyGrace
Can anyone recommend any that are interesting and engaging enough to hold interest for this age?
HeidiKC
Schlessinger has a series called "Space Science for Children" (K-4). Titles such as: All About Stars, All About the Moon, All About the Planets, etc. If he is really into it and wants more info, Tthey also have a similar series for older kids called "Space Science in Action" and one of the titles is Astronomy. They are for grades 5-8, but my 7-year-old seems to enjoy many of the Schlessing DVDs for that age.
SABE
The Magic School Bus Space Adventures was a huge hit with my 8 and 6 year olds. They have been quoting me facts from it ever since watching it.
Guest
Have you checked out the Bill Nye DVD's. We just got Magnetism from the library for my son to use with BFSU and Adrian loved it. I have already placed more on hold :).
