Come to find out, our Golden has been hiding a small Pomeranian in his coat...

Recommended Posts

I have noticed that our Golden's coat is especially shaggy and full this winter, to the point that he has large curls and swirls around his neck and shoulders. The poor Pom-Chi doesn't have near enough hair to keep himself warm so we actually do find him hidden in the Golden's fur. :tongue_smilie:

Riley has a curly "mane" this year--it's kinda cute! His coat is dry, tho. I'd like to give him some omega oil capsules, but I'm afraid he'll get the runs--and that ain't pretty on those hiney feathers! :D:glare:

I give Jack fish oil capsules and they don't seem to cause any problems. I also feed him a low allergen Lamb & Rice Meal feed that seems to help keep his coat shiny and his skin problems to a minimum. I use Nutro Brand but you have to read the bag because they have two different Lamb & Rice blends. One has corn and other fillers but the other does not.
