My ds will be in 8th grade next year and has never had logic or critical thinking. What should I start with? I'm just not sure where to begin searching... If you wish to go ahead and do formal logic first, there are programs such as Introductory Logic of Traditional Logic. I have to admit to you that I do not love any of them..... You can see the TOC there. It's secular, which I prefer. Here are a few threads about it: Logic-For those using Critical Thinking Books 1 and 2-How's it going??
