golfcartmama
We're headed to a party on Saturday and I need a good dessert recipe to follow grilled salmon. Any home run ideas to feed about 12 adults or so?? Thanks!
kalanamak
Fancy, rich, simple, light, or "healthy"?
LauraGB
I like fruit, citrusy fruit, with salmon. Maybe a Mango Pineapple Salad or something of the sort? What else are you having with the salmon?
sheryl
We're headed to a party on Saturday and I need a good dessert recipe to follow grilled salmon. Any home run ideas to feed about 12 adults or so?? Thanks! It really might depend on the complete menu. My very first thought was cheesecake with fresh berries on top. OR Citrus fruit salad (lots of citrus fruits, mix in some pecans and maybe shredded sweetened coconut. Now mix together. I've also thrown in some yogurt/honey/cinammon mixture into it. To the yogurt blend in honey and some cinammon and mix together before adding to the fruit mixture. HTH!
joannqn
I'd make a New York cheesecake simply because it serves that many with just one cheesecake. I can't get to my recipe at the moment though.
JennyD
This month's Cook's Illustrated had a gingerbread recipe that looked just great -- I've been eager to try it but haven't had the chance. It seems a bit more sophisticated than standard gingerbread but again, I can't vouch for it.
Blueridge
You might consider a big whipped cream salad...Fresh green and red grapes, strawberries, bananas, canned pineapple and mandarin oranges, and pecans if you like them in a huge bowl, and covered with a quart of whipped and sweetened heavy whipping cream. Oh my.
