omelet pan? Yes, another cooking tool question

Recommended Posts

Are y'all sick of my questions about salad spinners, rice cookers, and smoothies?

Dh has asked for an omelet pan for his b-day. We have a ceramic cooktop (not my choice, came with the house), and he prefers to only make two-egg rather than three-egg omelets.

Suggestions? We do have a Williams Sonoma nearby. But, if I can meet my needs at Wal-mart or Sam's that will do, too.

I make 2-egg omelets using an 8" nonstick skillet from Farberware. It works quite well, and it's just a little cheapie from Fred Meyer (a grocery / department store kind of like Wal-Mart, if you don't have them where you are). You can get pans specifically designated as "omelet pans," but I don't think it's necessary.
