wy_kid_wrangler04
Do you think its appropriate for a 7th grader? I am waiting for it on ILL and I am planning on reading it before she does-- Just looking for thoughts from the hive :001_smile:

Daisy
I've read it. I'm racking my brain trying to remember anything that would be bothersome for a 7th grader. I can't think of anything specific. I think just because it is not a christianbook you'll want to discuss the idea of religious pluralism and religious tolerance as defined by "you can believe what you want until you disagree too much with the guys in charge." My daughter would have been bored to death reading it. It was fascinating to me but it did require me to "push through" in some drier areas. It is already fading from my memory and I only read it a few months ago, so I'm less inclined to recommend it to a 7th grader. Better option may be for you to read it and have her read excerpts? Thank you! :D I called the library and it was sent so it should be here any day. I think I will take notes and excerpts as I read it and go from there.
