AngieW in Texas
Smoothies and milkshakes are the only things I use my blender for. I have an Oster classic beehive blender, but it's several years old now and it's starting to make funny sounds while blending, so I don't think it will last all that much longer. I'm looking for recommendations for blenders that are good at smoothies and milkshakes (so they have to be able to handle ice) and cost no more than $100. alpidarkomama
We bought something called a Ninja at Sam's Club. It comes with the blender + two other little blenders. GREAT for garlic, onions, etc. So far it's lasted longer than any other blender. (We use ours mostly for smoothies too... hard on blenders!) I think it was about $50. DawnM
Before I got my Vita-Mix, I got a L'Equip. It retails for $150 but I was able to get one off of ebay for around $50 plus about $10 shipping. It worked very well. Dawn
