KathyBC
The teacher's manual is necessary. It is best to start with book 1.
Sunshine State Sue
The teacher's manual is necessary. It is best to start with book 1. :iagree: megawords - is TM necessary? Do I need the teacher's manual for Megawords? The placement test is more for a classroom teacher.
ChrissySC
And definetly complete the lessons as stated ... Must Must have 90% accuracy for both reading and spelling before moving on with the next list. This is one of those programs that will fail you if you do not strictly follow the book as it is planned. :D We also practice the rules every week and review past list rules. This has made a great deal of difference in our lives when it comes to reading and spelling!
razorbackmama
Yep, it's necessary. I did get the assessment, but both of my kids ended up placing in Level 1.
