kristinannie
I got my catalog in the mail today and I love it. I had heard bad things about Phonics Museum for homeschooling, but a lot of the other stuff looks really great, especially history and literature starting in second grade. If any of you use this program, I would love to hear about it. It is nondenominational Christian? I'm Catholic, but will be doing my cathechism through another complany. Thanks so much for the info! Sevilla
I use parts of the program - I can speak most specifically about their literature (specifically the recommended novels). Right now I'm using the ancient core and have a dozen of their novels that I can give feedback on - some were great and some were wretched (to the point that I do not understand WHY they are in the VP catalogue). ETA: Theology-wise they are Reformed but certainly accessible to non-denom too (I know plenty of non-denom families who use them). Sevilla
The books I have read/used are on p.26-29 and a year or two ahead of where you're looking.
