Mine is up - link in sig.

To explain just a bit, DD#2 was pretending to take pictures (the entire two-hour ride!), like her uncle and grandfather were doing, while on a steam-train ride through the Schwartzwald (Black Forest). My brother actually took this one - and I just love it!

Moonbeam - is that really your place? It's beautiful - looks like a wee White House, you just need the big fountain out the front!

Dolphin - your schoolroom looks immaculate and super organized. Ours looks like ground zero in comparison, but at least I'm feeling inspired to tidy up tomorrow...

Laurie - that pic is amazing, could be an advert for bright inquisitive home schooled kidlets.

I've posted mine, but unfortunately my photos are poor quality (digicam died and we can't afford another one just yet so I'm using my phone).

Cute new avatar to go with your new name! When did you move?

That was the cleanest the school room has been all year. It does not look that way anymore. I found the Dr. Seuss wall clings on amazon, and made the mobiles out of a bulletin board kit.

I love all the photos of the kiddos looking how I feel by the end of each term, and all the snow makes me jealous. It's been about 3 years since we have had a good snow fall here.

Mine's up:

Here in Alabama, we don't usually get much, if any, snow. In the last few weeks, we've had a white Christmas (enough to shut everything down that day) and then Sunday night this week we got 8+"! DH was able to go to work today, finally, but he had to "slide down our road" (which is 1/2 mile long) to get home. It's pretty nasty out there, since we're in a rural area and they don't snow plow around here. The snow melts just enough during the day to make a thick sheet of ice at night. :tongue_smilie:

Anyway, we did school this week while all the traditionally schooled kids have had Monday-Thursday off. And we still got to play in the snow. :D
