Guest Kelper
Is there a poster here who can help me get my hands on either a WISC or WISC-II test?
wapiti
I'm pretty sure a WISC can only be administered by certain qualified professionals, such as a psych (or a psych's employees?), and the test company only sells to such individuals. I don't know what the value would be in trying to administer it yourself. As far as I know, the current version is the WISC IV.
deacongirl
Wondering why you would want one? Using it for test prep completely invalidates the test, and doesn't set up a child for success either. To have someone not qualified to administer it do it would also not make for valid results. Dmmetler
You can get the CoGAT or OLSAT with the Stanford or Iowa tests, and both give at least a rough IQ measure. It's not as accurate as the WISC, but from what I remember from my testing and assessments course, it's probably as accurate as the WISC interpreted by someone who hasn't been trained. It's not a straightforward test at all.
cara
I found this in my bookmarks, I'm sure it's not accurate or approved http://www.expertrating.com/7-to-9yrs-Childrens-IQ-test.asp
