mom2myboys
Do you rip out the student pages, or leave them in and photocopy them from the book? I was copying them from the book, but they look so messy and it is hard to get the whole page on the copy (the edges can get cut off). Then I noticed the perforations and am thinking I should just rip them out. But then I got nervous. :blushing: Can you tell I am a newbie? WWYD? TIA! 2_girls_mommy
I take mine to Kinko's and have them cut the binding off the A.G. and 3 hole punch it. Then I put it directly into a 3 ring binder which becomes my T.M. Then I can copy individual pages when I need them, but still have the originals intact for the next go round through. I have also paid to have the whole student pages section copied and 3 hole punched at once at Kinko's and put them directly into a binder for a workbook for my student. Chris in VA
I only had one to go thru SOTW, so I just ripped them out, and put them with her other notebooking pages in her history notebook. IMO, it's better to go ahead and use them, and just buy new student pages for the next child.
2_girls_mommy
Actually, I kind of decided that for next time too. The cost of buying it copied from Kinko's was more than buying an extra set of student pages....
mom2myboys
Thanks! I feel better now. There are no Kinko's near here so I will just be ripping and copying (I have 2 kiddos studying it.) Actually, maybe I will make 2 copies and keep the originals on hand for DS3. Hmmm. Decisions, decisions.
mom2myboys
Actually, looking at the book, it is not supposed to be photocopied. :blushing: But buying another activity book won't be too bad either. And having clean sheets and not struggling with the copier will be worth it. :)
plain jane
Other- I bought the student pages from PHP. :)
2_girls_mommy
It is ok to photocopy the student pages for you own family use. Read the copyright at the front of the student pages. Kinko's would never have copied it for me if that wasn't plainly spelled out.
mom2myboys
Oh good. I thought it would be similar to WWE. I only looked at the front of the book, not the student pages. I feel better now. Thank you! :)
boscopup
I got the student pages PDF. I have three kids, so they'll get used. I did the same thing with WWE - got the book and the separate student pages PDF.
