Mosaicmind Posted January 10, 2011 Share Posted January 10, 2011 My adopted mom moved from here 2 1/2 months ago and I have wanted to go see her. A very good friend of ours offered to purchase my ticket with her frequent flyer miles. It was a generous gift and I was so thankful. I leave early tomorrow morning and come back Saturday. My wonderful dh is working from home all week so the kids are all taken care of. I am all packed but too energized to sleep. I can't wait to leave. I have never gone on a vacation without my hubby or kids before so this will all be new to me. Please pray for safe travels--I am not too hip on flying. Pray that dh will survive the week with most of his hair :) Mom and I will be doing some much needed counseling while I am there and I am a bit anxious about that.
