TXMomof4
I'm having a 'get together' next week and will be serving fajitas and margaritas. Now, I have to figure out how to make margaritas. Anyone have the very best, to die for margarita recipe that I can borrow?

shalom22
We make NorCal Margaritas: 2 shots of tequila - * use either clear or 'reposado' and not 'gold'. Juice of one lime Splash of soda water Stir well. Add ice. *Info from the guy at Specks, he told us not to spend money on the expensive brands, there is a surplus of agave in Mexico so it is cheap, cheap. So buy a cheaper brand but don't buy 'gold' teguila. He told us that the gold is just food coloring, but the reposado is actually aged in barrels to get the brown/gold color. I have tweeked it a bit by adding a little agave necter to sweeten it, because is is quite tart. I only add about 1 T of soda water and add some water to fill my glass.
