Faithr
A while ago there was a thread where folks were inquiring about how Charlotte Mason taught reading. I'd been to a seminar on her methods and the teachers there used nursery rhymes where the student learned by sight but then phonics rules were extrapolated out of the words they learned. Anyhoo! I stumbled upon this resource that teaches reading through nursery rhymes. So I thought some of you might be interested in it. Btw, the site has lots of other interesting resources, nice notebooks and such. We use their penmanship series which reminds me of the Palmer method I was taught in my parochial school.
