fastforward
I know as homeschoolers we are quite busy with our children and the day to day living stuff, so I almost hesitate to ask this. Almost. :tongue_smilie: Would it be possible for people to remember to leave feedback for their FS transactions? :o Thanks. :001_smile:

Can you link me to some directions?
fastforward
I haven't figured out an easy, more straightforward way to do it, so my method is a bit convoluted. First, I copy the web address of the original FS thread where I found the item. It's needed in order to leave feedback. Then I click on the person's screenname (who I bought the item from). Click on "View all feedback for ___________." At the new page, I click on "Submit feedback for __________." Then I'm at the page with the form to leave feedback. This is where it's important to have the link to the original FS thread where the items are found because it's needed in order to submit the feedback form. I hope that helps. Maybe someone will have a simpler, more straight forward way of doing it. I think that might be the reason why feedback isn't left more often, honestly, because it's a bit of a process to get to the feedback form. I always leave feedback when I buy or sell. It is frustrating that the four times I have sold, no one has left feedback, so it still looks like I've bought, but never sold here. fastforward
It is frustrating. I have mostly bought items here, but I wish feedback would be left for that, as well.

Yep, that's how it's done:) I only receive feedback for about half of my transactions. Sometimes, when a person PMs me to say they've received their item, I ask if they would please consider leaving feedback. Maybe if you ask, and even provide the original link in your PM? Good luck! lisa

Hoping I can now go back and find the links for things I bought a few months ago. I asked back then how to do feedback and never got an answer, so hopefully I can track down those purchases at this point. Off to attempt it now..... TN Mama
providing a link would be very helpful to me becasue finding the orignal post is often frustrating and time consuming for me... Usually when I purchase something, I've sent a PM to the seller re: the item. It really only takes a minute to click on that person's name and find the threads they have started. You can even do a search with the person's name & threads they've started on the fs board. It doesn't take more than a minute or two to leave feedback once you figure out how to do it. Night Elf
Would people get into an uproar if you provide anything other than positive feedback? I know people want to warn others about potential bad transactions, but sometimes people exaggerate as well. In my mind, I think of the FS board as being a place where the homeschoolers on this board sell what they've used and buy what they need. But I know it's a hot spot for people who come here just to sell. I much prefer buying from names I recognize from their posts on the regular boards because I feel I can trust them since they are interested in being a community member and not just a seller. I'm not talking about the 50 posts required to use the FS board. I only buy from people who've been here a while. But then again, I've been a member since 2002 so I'm kind of old school. :)

I know people want to warn others about potential bad transactions, but sometimes people exaggerate as well. Exaggerate about bad or good transactions? I can see exaggerating good transactions, but the bad ones, too? In a perfect world, posting honest feedback -- negative or positive -- helps everyone, I would think. I'm so thankful that I haven't had a bad transaction on the forums here (yet!), however, I haven't bought *that* much, either.
