Aubrey
Are there only 4 titles in this series? How do you like it? How does it compare to the primary source/ref vol of World in Ancient Times? My library doesn't have either series, & my Amazon cart is getting very full, so I need somebody to tell me I need these or to tell me that they're worthless. Nothing in between will do. ;)
freerange
I have it as one volume covering Mesopotamia, Egypt, the Holy Land, Persia, Greece, Phoenicians and Etruscans, and Romans. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/ol/1906842000/ref=aw_d_ol I haven't seen the other text you mention, but I'd be happy to try to answer any questions you might have about this book. Edited to add- definitely not worthless :D Edited January 5, 2011 by freerange
