Apparently, the "disconnect department" at our local cable office...

Do you have a local office? When we cancelled our cable service we disconnected all our boxes and I carried them into the office and made sure to get a receipt.

 

Thanks Dorothy. I thought of that, but it's harder to get there and get it done with the girls in tow. It's taken me three years to actually make the call. I can't imagine how long it would take me to actually drive there :lol:

 

I ended up being on hold for 35 minutes :glare: But there's $100 a month back into our budget, woohoo!
