Chris in PA
Hi all, I am looking into MFW after all the great recommendations on this board. But my question is this. My ds is going into 8th grade. This year we are using a combination of SOTW 4 and AAH 2. Where would we start with MFW? It would seem we should start with year 5 but we would have just completed that study this year. Any advice for me? Would the HS level Ancient History be too difficult? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

I have the Kindergarten package due to be here tomorrow (:D) I am going to start my now 3rd grader in it next year and my dd that is going to be in 8th next year. They will both be doing ECC (That is the geography year). If you wanted to do it in 8th- that is what I would recommend because you dc will get the geography foundation before starting the cycle over again in high school. (after much pondering, I actually just decided this for my 8th grarder and I really think this is the best way to go). They learn alot and the 7th & 8th grade supplement package looks really interesting! If you scroll down, you can see the required 7th & 8th grade books- there are 6 of them. mommaduck
Since he would start with Highschool Ancients next year, I would order ECC and it's 7&8th grade supplement (I think there is one) and do that this year (it's a geography course and studies various cultures).
