We're on the downhill slope towards our new life. It isn't what I envisioned and hoped for, but I can see a glimmer of good on the horizon. I'm still a homeschooler at heart and always will be. I would do just about anything to go back to then - we still had out house, dh still was at the same job he'd been at for 5 years, and life seemed a lot easier. Fondly remembering the special times when... you and your kids were the only ones in the public library on a school day, or when people would comment on how smart your kids are, or when, on doctor's visits, your doctor asks if you need an excuse slip for public school and your kids would pipe up, "We don't need one.
