Do any of you use Ebates?

Recommended Posts

I used to use Ebates, but there were so many times that I would have to call and submit my receipt because they didn't post my rebate. It was more hassle than it was worth.

I had to do the same thing a few times. I've since moved on to mypoints.com. You earn points instead and then submit for reward cards. I've had times I had to email to get my points, etc. but it always worked out - highly recommend:)

Yes, it makes shopping so much more fun.

I have no clue how this works but enlighten me, please.

Do you get rebates/points on things you buy regularly, i.e, groceries?

I don't shop much for anything else these days with budget being what it is.

You have to use it in online stores. You start at ebates and then "click through" to the online store you want to use, and then (a few months later) you receive a check or deposit in your paypal account for a percentage of what you spent -- every store has a different arrangement, some of them it's small (like 2%) and rarely, for some stores, you get a big percentage back (up to 50%).
