Lawana Posted January 2, 2011 Share Posted January 2, 2011 What do you make of a HP notebook that all of a sudden will not run on AC power? The battery will charge, and it will run in battery mode, but with the battery removed and the AC cord in, it is dead. The power adapter must be getting power in, because the battery charges, but the computer won't switch to using AC power. Ideas anyone?
