freetobeme
because i feel like you (collectively) know everything. . . is there benefit to GREATLY reducing gluten intake and being mostly gluten free if there is no celiac diagnosis? i guess my thought is that if the gluten content in our food has been so greatly increased, then there might be good in reducing it in the diet, but not totally excluding. anyone have thoughts, experiences, research to share? thanks much!!! In the Rain
Interesting question. I had a celiac biopsy done by a GI doc several weeks ago. When I saw my Primary Care Doctor yesterday for something else, she asked me about the negative diagnosis. She then stated that it was "never a bad idea to avoid gluten". I wish I'd asked her why, but I was feeling crummy and just wanted to get out of there!
