Outdoorsy Type
I made a pot of beans yesterday, and some potato soup this afternoon. No leftovers unfortunately. :glare: I'm not seriously sick, I just have a sore throat/ear ache from a cold. Nothing sounds good, though, and I don't feel energetic or enthused at all about fixing supper. :tongue_smilie: What do you do?
Random
I try to have a few frozen pizzas in the freezer for days like this. If I don't have anything like that around, everyone usually makes themselves a bowl of oatmeal for dinner, topped with nuts and fruit (dried or fresh). Hope you feel better soon! ThatCyndiGirl
Mashed potato sandwhich. Works every single time. One slice of toasted white bread. Top with hot mashed potatoes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Top with another piece of toasted white bread. YUM!
lynn
DH feeds the kid. Grilled cheese, pbj, pancakes, fruit, cheese and crackers, simply things. I just want a big bowl of chicken noodle soup.
Joyofsixreboot
Some kid makes scrambled eggs or waffles and I lay on the couch. Alternately I strongly suggest we have ramen. We only keep it for 'emergencies' so this is usually greeted with whoops of joy.
helena
I make one of three soups. Tortilla (my easy recipe), without the chips, the broth is so healing. Pozole Caldo Tlalpeno (garbonzo, chipotle, rice, avo) :lurk5:
Mommyof4ks
Dominos pizza cooks for us when I'm sick. :001_smile:
