(to the tune of "Mary Had a Little Lamb") Mary had a baby boy, baby boy, baby boy Mary had a baby boy His name was Jesus Shepherds came to see the child, see the child, see the child Shepherds came to see the child His name was Jesus It is actually rather cute :)
Guest
We watched Guys and Dolls last night, so this morning I have "Sit down sit down sit down sit down, sit down, you're rocking the boat" in my head. Dd occasionally varies this by belting out "Luck be a lady tonight." At least they're great songs! It's just that a few times around and I'm done. Yours sounds a bit more like a tribulation! Chris in VA
Just saw True Grit yesterday with Ds21, so I've had "Leaning on the Everlasting Arms" on the brain!
k2bdeutmeyer
DD also has another one (this one is said more like a poem, not a song) that she fequently gets stuck in my head: I couldn't buy you a gift, because I'm very small But, I can give you the greatest gift of all. I can give you kisses. I can give you hugs. I can give you a friendly smile. And, I can say "I love you." I about melted the first time I heard her reciting it. milovany
I'd be singing this one, if I knew Arabic. So beautiful. I just found it on our diocesan website.

2cents
Mary Poppins tunes because I just watched a documentary on the Sherman Brothers (netflix streaming). The brothers wrote many of the Disney songs and the film is about their relationship. It was interesting and sad too.
lisamarie
We Three Kings. DS had to learn it for our church Christmas program which meant ALL the kids learned it, and DD has been singing it all morning.

extendedforecast
I was just singing a tune from my DS's toy: Hello, the phone is ringing so I say, Hello. Goodbye, when I'm done talking then I say, bye-bye. What do I say? Say bye-bye!
Nakia
I've been singing: 2011 has got to be better, got to be better, got to be better 2011 has got to be better than this horrible crappy year was. I made it up in case you are wondering who the artist is. ;)
secular_mom
Living in America- we've been playing Rockband 3 and I have different songs from the game stuck in my head at different times. Mostly Megadeth though, cause we bought a few Megadeth songs.
melissel
I've had Just The Way You Are by Bruno Mars in my head for days, because DH put it on a mix CD for me for Christmas (:001_wub:) and I've been listening to it so much! But, unfortunately (or maybe fortunately!), now I have Runyonland Music stuck there too, thanks to KarenAnne! "I've got the horse right here, the name is Paul Revere..." Kathleen in VA
My dil embroidered a large primitive country wall-hanging with the words to my favorite hymn - Be Still, My Soul - for Christmas. I've had that running through my head ever since I opened it.

Belacqua
My eleven year old has been singing Don McLean's American Pie all morning. Is he a CTY alum? That song is their anthem and I imagine that by the end of summer, the counselors never, ever want to hear that song again. :)

Negin
And I just watched this too. I love that song! It's my ringtone for my phone--the first I ever downloaded! I should try that - putting it on my phone. :D I stopped paying attention to popular music when our kids were really small, but now that they're getting older, we're all enjoying the same music together, which is so nice. On our recent trip to the U.S., we had no disagreements as to which radio stations to listen to. We all have very similar taste, so that helps. For the longest while, I thought ONLY 80s music (the music we grew up to) was any good. But now I'm realizing that there is a lot of great stuff out there.
