CarrieF
Both of my sons have enjoyed and done well with Typing Instructor for Kids - Platinum Edition. I think it was $20-25 from Rainbow.

First we use Dance Mat and then they 'graduate' to this one. They love it. :)

prairiewindmomma
We picked up Typing Instructor for Kids Platinum on sale for $20ish at Best Buy. They also carry it at Target. It's an easy program to find. :)
Cindyz
We used Read, Write and Type starting when my son was 5. It taught him well and he really enjoyed it. He enjoyed it so much that he's going through the whole thing a second time. I think he's ready for Wordy Qwerty and that's what he'll do when he finishes Read, Write and Type this time. I also purchased Typing Instructor and did not like it. My son does not like it either and won't use it. Read, Write and Type is perfect for beginning readers.
