Mabelen
I am hosting both Christmas Even and Christmas Day with my husband's side of the family. Usually we split duties, I handle Christmas Eve and celebrate it Spanish style. My sister in law handles Christmas Day but this year she is away so I am handling that too! I have a very light and yummy fruitcake another relative made and gave us that I could serve for dessert on Christmas day but I don't know what I can serve it with to make it special. Ice cream? Whipped cream? Anything else? Any ideas are welcome!
Impish
An option that isn't fruitcake for those that can't stand it? :D

Mabelen
Hahaha! Fruitcake, I know! I don't like fruitcake myself. I used to live in the UK for over 10 years and couldn't bring myself to liking it... I would eat it if offered just to be polite, but never enjoyed it! But... this fruitcake is not your traditional fruitcake. It is actually really good. It's more of a cupcake/muffin type of cake with a little fruit in it! Does that change your suggestions?:bigear:
