GED and educating an older teen.

Is it true you can do the GED in Spanish? All of it? Does this mean there is no English portion?

Also, BIL came over with a bit of a problem today and I am stumped. He has recently taken in his 17 y/o sister. He sat down with her yesterday to discuss what would be expected of her and what her plans are. As he began discussing enrolling her in to a local private school she mentioned to him that she has no credits at all.:001_huh: He is now panicking and asking me what he should do. I have no idea. At this point she is too close to 18 to even be able to enroll in school in the US, where her sister is. I suggested buckling down and really studying English as well as getting prepared for the GED. She turns 18 in August.

BIL basically doesn't want her just sitting around watching T.V. and using IM. I really don't know what to tell him, as I have no experience with anything like this.
