sheryl
Indeed I did buy bone-in beef standing rib roast for the entree for our Christmas meal. Any suggestions on what seasonings to "rub" onto it? I grow Rosemary so I was thinking of this: Freshly ground Rosemary Salt Pepper Garlic Oil Would the above combo taste good? I'll bake the vegetables first for about an hour: Zucchini Carrot Potato Celery Any suggestions? Thanks. Sheryl <><
Hedgehogs4
That would be a good rub! I would give a good dousing with Worcestershire sauce too. My favorite rub is Morton's season-all with W. S. and garlic, but recently I've been doing rubs more like what you describe.
Parrothead
Yum. Garlic and rosemary or if you want thyme and rosemary.
sheryl
Yum. Garlic and rosemary or if you want thyme and rosemary. OK Chucki, what would be better then. I am NOT a culinary chef. I'm really not wanting to make a mistake. So, do you think thyme would taste better with rosemary or would they both be about the same? Thanks for sharing. That would be a good rub! I would give a good dousing with Worcestershire sauce too. My favorite rub is Morton's season-all with W. S. and garlic, but recently I've been doing rubs more like what you describe. Thanks Kelly! joannqn
This herb-crusted pork loin roast recipe has my favorite rub on it. I use it on beef and chicken, too, sometimes.
