hana
My children received laptops for Christmas, primarily for the purpose of their schoolwork, but they will want to use them for children's games such as Webkinz, Toontown, etc. as well. What would the Hive recommend as far as security (ie., McAfee, etc.) to protect the computer and in terms of content (ie., NetNanny) to protect the children? Also, if anyone has a great case to recommend (the laptops are 15"), that would be great, as we'll be commuting with them quite a bit. Thank you! MaMa2005
We use McAfee and Net Nanny. DH teaches computers and these were his choices. I don't mess with his 'choices'. I like Net Nanny. It has kept DS from getting places he doesn't belong. Sometimes too well, but better too protected than not enough.
