LibraryLover
LOL Sounds like a very good plan. If you're tipsy, there are no calories in cookies, right? :tongue_smilie:
Parrothead
Yum! I love white russians. Oh, and toasted almonds. Mmm.. another food group to add to the lunch menu. All right! Someone post the recipe for "White Russians", please. Pour some milk in a glass, add a sized splash of Kahlua and and ever better sized splash of vodka. Shake, enjoy. Unless you put it in your breakfast cereal. Not that I've done that. ;) That isn't what I heard. Why are you waiting?? I think I'll start now! Wait... of to the Dr's office first for sick kids... and then I need the recipe and ingredients. :) I had to go to the church and help with the decorating for Christmas. It would have been understandable if I had started seeing how I'm Irish Catholic and every one knows how well we hold our alcohol, but I had to use pruning loppers. QueenCat
Dh made up a big batch of hot buttered rum mix (Frugal Gourmet recipe) so I plan on drinking that while dh makes the xmas cookies tonight. (maybe I'll help a little) It's not a traditional hot buttered rum, but it's my fave xmas drink.:D I think this is the recipe he uses (he has it in a book): http://www.recipeslib.com/frugal-gourmet/61653-hot-buttered-rum-mix.html That sounds and looks very good..... Truscifi
My mother just told me drinks with coffee, milk, fruit juice, or tomato juice actually count as breakfast, so you start with them as soon as you get up. Hmmm, that explains a lot about family holidays when I was little. :tongue_smilie:
Aubrey
Bring tape. Got it. Hey did Aubrey ever find her envelopes? NO! And now my kids have used up all the tape that dh bought the other day. Ds: "I knew we should have bought more." It was THREE rolls. Ok, to be fair, 2 were used up. They lost the other one. :glare: On a brighter note, they offered to make me an envelope. :D
