kalanamak
My son would have a raging headache with that temp, so yes. If he wasn't suffering, just napping or contentedly watching Fantasia, then no.
babysparkler
I wouldn't unless the child was extremely uncomfortable or had a history of febrile seizures. I will let any fever go (up to 104ish) as long as the child isn't completely miserable. :iagree:
Amy loves Bud
Ahhh, yeah, I would. Okay, you above posters please explain why you would withhold medicine for a sick kid. I didn't post above, but I don't give anti-pyretics until the fever is 103 or higher unless they are acting and feeling sick. My 10 year old used to get crazy high fevers -102 was actually not much for her and she would play and feel fine with it. There is no danger in that level of fever in and of itself, and I give medication sparingly. (This may vary for children who are prone to febrile seizures or have other medical problems, so ymmv and talk to your own doctor!) Now if I had a child who was miserable and achy at 102, I would absolutely give them the medication.
