mcconnellboys
I've known about some of the major cities for quite a long time and have suspected that many more smaller cities were in the same boat, even though they don't garner the same type of media attention, in general. What will be the result of them defaulting, however? I suspect that we "can't allow our cities to fail" any more than we can afford to let large corporations fail and that they will be bailed out and we'll just print more money (all with no backing, of course) to cover the problem. I don't expect that real change will come until the debt crisis is so far gone that an overall collapse will occur.... Or until our creditors refuse to extend any more to us, whichever comes first....
