athomemom
in fact I'm terrified of them. I chuckle to myself at times when I'm here on The Hive...and I'm a Nurse Bee now. I just had to share.
Aggie
Why are you terrified of them? We have honey bees and they are intriguing! Find some clover in the spring and watch them! Fascinating! Sure, the stings hurt a bit, but not for very long. Well, unless you have an allergic reaction. And they only sting if they are protecting the hive. My dd picks them up all the time. :) A few weeks ago there were quite on the chicken feed. The chickens, cats and goats were both curious, but the bees went on about their business and didn't bother the other animals.:001_smile:

thescrappyhomeschooler
I don't like bees, either. I don't like any flying insect that buzzes, quite frankly. I get that bees are cool, but I'd like them to keep their coolness at a relatively far distance from me.
Tammyla
I thought this was going to be one of those frightening stories...Congratulations btw.

I was stung a bit when I was young. Bees are fascinating, but I'm still scared! I :001_wub:the WTM forum though. The help I've received has been great!
