Liz CA
In case anyone's queue at Netflix is empty or you need general suggestions, here is what our friend recently "previewed" and liked. He never recommends anything that is lewd, too graphically violent or badly done - IMHO at least. 1. Doc Martin (series) 2. Downton Abbey (series) 3. Return to Cranford (for those of you who have seen and liked the first "Cranford" with J. Dench) 4. Letters to Juliet :001_smile: ETA: I have seen none of the above movies but will start with Doc Martin since several of you thought it was good. MomOfOneFunOne
Well, I thought Doc Martin was hilarious so I'll give the others a try, too. Thanks!
Happy
Letters to Juliet was....bland, boring. The only good thing about it was the beautiful Italian scenery. Not much plot at all. Of course, there's not much objectionable, so many may find that meets their main criteria.
helena
I love Doc Martin! Definitely worth checking out. Is Letters on instant?
DarcyB
Cranford is a lovely series, as well.
goldberry
I liked Letters to Juliet. It's not exactly high-brow entertainment or particulary 'thought provoking'. Just a good romantic movie.
