chickenpatty
I just finished reading this book (authored by Ann Martin and Laura Godwin) aloud to my kids. It was so much fun - kind of like The Indian in the Cupboard)! It's about two families of dolls that are alive when the humans aren't looking. I think there is a sequel (The Meanest Doll in the World ?), but I haven't read that yet, so can't comment. It says on the back that it's for ages 8-12, but my whole crew (ages 4-13) enjoyed hanging around & listening to me read it. P.S. I think I use parenthesis too much. (Oh well...) :001_smile:
Matryoshka
My dd looooved that book - and its two sequels! I think it's what finally got her reading longer books.
LibraryLover
Oh, I think the littles would like Big Susan, too! www.amazon.com/Big-Susan-Elizabeth-Orton-Jones/dp/1930900066/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1292516968&sr=1-
Paintedlady
My dd read it (and LOVED it!) but I didn't know there was a sequel. Hmmm, maybe I could get her the sequel(s) for Christmas? Thank you!
